JASMINE

Baby Sitting A Rabbit

Baby Sitting A Rabbit

Jasmine was found by the police in 2003, dumped in a garden shed. She was shivering cold, filthy, malnourished and desperate for food when she arrived at Nuneaton and Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary, and she needed weeks of loving to nurse her back.

Five years later it appears the rescued greyhound has become a surrogate mother to more than 50 animals.

Jasmine With Bramble

Jasmine With Bramble

Unusual for the normally aggresses breed this seven-year-old greyhound cares for an 11-week-old roe deer fawn names tiny Bramble, who was found semi-conscious in a nearby field. Jasmine cuddles up to Bramble keeping her warm, making sure nothing is matted in the dear’s fur and showering her with affection.

This amazing dog has loved plently of animals back to health.

Since Jasmine took on the role of surragate mother she has had plenty of practice at caring for recued animals. The count so far is 15 rabbits, 5 fox cubs, 8 guinea pigs, 4 badger cubs, 15 chicks and yes 2 stray puppies.
